This intensive course of five-days duration aims to let you explore the VMware technologies, which would enable you to deploy and manage your private on-premise cloud, and lets you connect to the other clouds securely. In this course, you will also learn about the latest features and enhancements that are added in VMware vCenter Server® 6.5, VMware ESXi™ 6.5, and VMware vSAN™ 6.5. You will also learn how to configure and use the vRealize Automation platform, which would also include self-service provisioning and creating catalog services inclusive of predefined virtual machines and software components. It also includes learning the creation of approval cycles and managing machine lifecycles so as to conserve the resources. This course also provides the details of logical routing aiming to enable you for dynamically routing between various virtual environments. At the same time, you will also learn the use of gateway services, firewall configurations, and security services so as to aid in securing and optimizing your cloud environment with VMware NSX®.

By the end of the course, you should be able to meet the following objectives:

  • Discuss the key enhancements made to VMware vSphere® 6.5 and vSAN 6.5
  • Describe the VMware vRealize® Automation™ (vRA) architecture and use cases
  • Efficiently manage vRealize Automation entities on different platforms such as VMware and other third-party virtual, cloud, and physical infrastructures.
  • Successfully configure and manage the catalogs and blueprints.
  • Successfully configure and manage business groups and reservations to compute resources on VMware, Microsoft, Amazon, and other platforms.
  • Efficiently use the self-service portal to request and manage machines according to the vRealize Automation approval and governance policies
  • Efficiently manage and monitor different machines and resource reclamation
  • Successfully configure and deploy VMware NSX® distributed router appliances to establish east-west connectivity
  • Successfully configure and deploy VMware NSX® Edge™ services gateway appliances in order to establish north-south connectivity
  • Successfully configure NSX Edge firewall rules so as to restrict the network traffic
  • Successfully configure VMware NSX distributed firewall rules so as to restrict the network traffic

  • Experienced system, network administrators and engineers or system integrators who are responsible for implementing a cloud infrastructure.
To opt for this course you need to fulfill one of the following prerequisites:


  • Understanding the concepts that are presented in the VMware vSphere: i.e. Install, Configure, Manage [V6.0]
  • Understanding the concepts that are presented in the VMware vSphere: i.e. Fast Track [V6.0] and VMware vSAN: Deploy and Manage [V6.2] course Or
  • Attain Equivalent knowledge and administration experience with VMware ESXi™, VMware vCenter Server™, and VMware vSAN.

Having an experience of working at the command line shall be helpful.

The course material presumes that the student opting for it shall be able to perform the following tasks without any assistance or guidance prior to the enrollment in this course:

  • Successfully install and configure VMware ESX®/ESXi
  • Successfully install vCenter Server
  • Create various vCenter Server objects, such as data centers and folders
  • Create and efficiently manage vCenter Server roles and permissions
  • Create and efficiently modify a standard switch

  • Successfully connect an ESX/ESXi host to NAS, iSCSI, or Fibre Channel storage

  • Efficiently use a wizard or a template so as to create a virtual machine

Yes. VCA certification does not count towards the VCP requirements. You will still need to complete a qualifying course and pass the relevant exam(s).

VMware Consulting and Training Credits are pre-paid services dollars which can be redeemed for any combination of VMware packaged consulting, custom consulting or training. Credits provide customers with the flexibility to allocate budget for services and use the services when needed. To redeem credits for education classes, follow the standard registration process. When the payment question comes up, select pay with PSO credits. More information will be provided by contacting our representative.

Class timings are 9:30 am to 5:30 pm(IST)

Our live online classes are conducted in the same manner as our classroom classes, using the same manuals and lab equipment. Just as in our classroom classes, each online student is assigned a set of remote lab equipment including an ESXi host and various pre-configured Virtual machines, as the specific class they are attending requires. The students connect to the lab environment using Microsoft’s Remote Display Protocol (RDP) in order to perform the lab exercises. The vast majority of our online students find the class experience equivalent to or better than a classroom delivered class.

Exams can be taken in any PearsonVUE centres in India. Validity is 1 year from date of purchase.

All our trainers are VMware Certified Instructors. Our representatives will share the trainer profile once you start interacting with them.

Class will be 50:50 mixture of theory and practical. You will get class id, labs soft copy of courseware and participation certificate from VMware.

We accept all modes of payment. If you are being nominated by your organization, your organization need to release PO before the course start date. If you are an individual you can pay through credit / debit cards, online transfer (RTGS/NEFT) to our account 7 days prior to the course start date

  • In a highly unlikely event of cancellation of batch from our end, we shall refund 100% that is paid by you. If client choose to cancel for any reasons, below is the terms
  • If you cancel or reschedule your registration 5 or more calendar days before the scheduled start date of the class – No cancellation charges
  • If you cancel or reschedule your registration less than 5 calendar days before the scheduled start date of the class – cancellation charges 100% of the course fee
  • If you do not show up for the event, or cancel on the day of the event - cancellation charges 100% of the course fee
